THE LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE

Nicole Hartman-Chairperson

Function: Monitor the landscape in the common areas.

The idea behind this committee is that an interested group of homeowners, preferably including at least one person with a green thumb, would take care of the numerous seasonal plantings in and around Wiltshire at Oxford.  If the interest in this committee is strong enough the Landscape Committee might also consider taking over the mowing of the common areas.  It seems probable that the money saved by not hiring outside labor to take care of the plantings and/or the mowing should more than offset the expenditures made for better plantings and arrangements throughout the development.  A variation on this idea would have more than one committee, perhaps one for each street in the development, and each committee would make sure that the plantings at the entrance to their particular block was kept looking nice.
