Attendance/ Call to Order/ Approval of Minutes
- Meeting
was called to order at 6:15 pm.
- Previous
Minutes for May 21, 2003 – Approved
Advisory Committee
Report
- CCR
replaced entrance signs – Action: M. Rebert to ask CCR if HOA paid for
signs. Follow-up: CCR indicated
that the HOA did not pay for any signs
- Web
Page –Letter to be sent to Donovan Mackey re: Link to ReMax on the website
that the board approves of this link. Action:
M. Rebert to stop by and see
Donovan
- Newsletter
– A first draft of the newsletter was reviewed. Board members and ARC committee were asked to provide
information by the 20th of July. The newsletter will ask for volunteers who might be
interested to act as captains for the street to disseminate information for
the HOA. Action: D. Vecere
to send a recent list of ARC membership to L. Thinnes.
Action: L. Thinnes
finalize with a target of the end of July/ early Aug for distribution.
- There
is a broken tree in the entrance area.
The tree will be removed. It
will be determined later in the year if it will be replaced.
Action: Remove
tree to the trash.
Treasurer’s Report
- Collection
of fees – 1 lot paid but did not include late fees and interest.
Homeowner given more time to get Board requested information from the
post office. Action: CCR to send letter requesting this information.
Mike to contact CCR.
- Pending
legal action –settled out of court; however agreed payment was not
received. Follow-up
Actions: CCR to re-institute
legal proceedings.
- Board
reviewed the financials and approved.
Management Company
report
- Landscaping
– T+M gave an updated quote of $675 to remove and replant the entrances.
Action: M. Rebert will
call CCR to clarify what will be done and when.
- On
Cornerstone there are rocks in the easement area preventing the area from
being mowed. Action:
M. Rebert to contact CCR to ask Frost to remove the rocks.
- Deed
Transfer – Revised Deed transfer where we will take over the Phase 1 areas
was reviewed. Action:
M. Rebert to send to CCR.
Architectural
Committee Report
- ARC
Report – 7 approvals: decks,
fence, shed, retractable awning, privacy wall on deck (one side only < 15
feet long)
- Wooden
mailbox post was installed rather than original style.
Action: D. Vecere to notify CCR to send letter.
- Green
reflective signs have been approved. Notification
will be done via the newsletter and the website.
Action: Notify CCR that these were approved.
- Request
for 6’ pool fencing is currently assigned to legal for all further
actions.
- Response
was sent to owner with the existing shed.
- Driveway
extension – Action: Board
members to visit site to review and report back to the ARC.
- ARC
Committee noted that CCR is handing out old copies of the ARC request form.
Action: Denise to notify
them and provide them with the new form
- Revisions
to the Rules and Regulations were discussed. New revisions were agreed to by the board.
Proposed revisions need to be sent to CCR for legal review.
Action: D. Vecere
Open Board Meeting
- An
open board meeting will be planned for October. L. Thinnes contacted CCR with the dates in order to
reserve the church. Post
Meeting note: Date for this meeting will be October 16th.
CCR to attend
New Business
- Electric
Scooters have been seen in the development. These are not legal is they are not a licensed driver.
Action: M. Murray to review By-Laws.
CCR will be asked to send a letter once it is determined who it needs
to be sent to.
- Parking
issues with the baseball field. Parking
remains a big issue. They are
not obeying the “no parking” signs.
Options were discussed. Action: M. Rebert to ask CCR to send a letter to the school
board asking for their assistance. Next
option is to discuss it with the Township.
